Job Overview
Giant Food is hiring an FT Associate Asset Protection - Security. The role is responsible for protecting the company's retail store assets by investigating loss, preventing theft, and maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities- Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents.
- Identify deficiencies and execute corrective action in stores.
- Maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce merchandise losses.
- Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities.
- Assist in implementing safety and security training programs.
- High School Diploma
- Driver's License and transportation required
- Up to one year of related experience
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
- Basic skills in MS Office
