Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.43 / Hour

Daytime Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command when needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to screening and security-related activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help support screening operations and identify conditions that may require attention.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
