Job Summary
The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. They oversee the work of Assistant Installation Technician, communicate with customers to provide answers and resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Learn and implement One Hour service system, procedures, and ethical practices.
- Accurately diagnose problems of client HVAC systems.
- Effectively recommend service and repair options to convert opportunities into sold work.
- Perform service, maintenance and repairs while maintaining a less than 1% callback ratio.
- Optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control.
- Maintain a neat work area and inspect it for cleanliness after each job.
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring it is always clean on both the inside and outside.
- Coordinate with the Installation Manager to review completed work and understand the scope of tomorrow’s installs.
- Collect payment from customers to ensure company revenue.
- Assist the team in getting parts and materials delivered, minimizing downtime.
- Start the day early, preparing for a successful installation schedule.
- Attend briefing with Installation Manager to review previous day’s work and tomorrow’s scope.
- Arrive at customer sites on time in a clean, ready truck, delivering 6‑star service.
- Receive real‑time coaching and support for any on‑site challenges.
- Manage the parts and material delivery from the warehouse to the installation site.
- Collect payment and confirm customer satisfaction before leaving.
Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience. A strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.

Full‑time position; annual salary range $60,000 – $100,000. Hourly rate $25 – $35. $100 interview bonus for qualified technicians.
