Skillforce is seeking a skilled Residential Electrician for a Service Technician role with a small electrical business. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong experience in residential electrical service and renovation.
Pay$32–$34 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule & Location8-hour shifts
Monday–Friday
Work locations include Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot residential electrical service issues
- Install and service electrical wiring, outlets, and switches
- Install and service light fixtures, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and LED lighting
- Install and service security and landscape lighting
- Install and service smoke detectors and CO₂ detectors
- Install and service electrical panels (heavy-ups), breaker replacements
- Install and service appliance outlets and GFCIs
- Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience
- Electrical license preferred
- Ability to perform service calls in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
