We are hiring and have multiple openings for full time general laborers with driving duties for multiple crews. Reliable transportation to and from our shop(s) is necessary. Salary to be determined based on experience. Federal approved drivers license or as the need may arise to work at government properties. Scopes of work to be performed include but are not limited to:
- Striping
- Seal Coating
- Thermoplastic Installation
Some of the duties & requirements include but are not limited to:
- Surface Preparation:
Light cleaning (sweeping and/or blowing) of dry asphalt surfaces to remove debris. - Seal Coating Application:
Filling cracks with appropriate material if applicable. Applying seal coat material using various methods like long‑handled squeegees, spray wands, or specialized equipment. - Striping Application:
Use specialized equipment like ride‑on striping machines, walk‑behind stripers, and sprayers to paint lines and symbols. Ensure accurate placement and dimensions of markings to ensure projects are completed on time and to the correct specifications. - Thermoplastic Installation:
Prep pavement, layout markings, use primer when necessary, apply glass beads. Also see "Striping Application" above. - Quality Control:
Ensuring even and proper application of the materials. - Other Duties:
Maintaining and cleaning of equipment and tools, following safety protocols and guidelines, working as a team, following instructions, communicating effectively, perform other duties as assigned by the foreman, such as assisting crew members. - Travel & Flexibility:
Be available to travel to multiple construction sites within the geographic region and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed. - Professionalism:
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with peers, contractors, and the general public. - Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
