Evinova is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This role requires daily coding, self-motivation, and a passion for development. You will contribute technical expertise to help the team deliver world-class solutions.

In this role, you will be a Software Engineer on the Study Designer product. Study Designer empowers clinical teams to design, optimize and automate authoring and downstream systems, combining AI with deep expertise to accelerate timelines, improve site and patient experiences, and reduce costs. The role is based in Gaithersburg, US and you will be part of the global product engineering team.

Our team is high-performing and fast-paced. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, platform). You will understand, plan, develop, test, and deploy software. You will coordinate with different teams as needed for integrations and you are expected to follow the Software Development Lifecycle and best practices.

As a Software Engineer, you will deliver tailored, high-quality, operationally sustainable code. A solution is complete after development, testing, and release.

Responsibilities include:

• Write quality code to match requirements.
• Code using best practices and test locally.
• Ensure proper code coverage and participate in regular code reviews.
• Raise and escalate blockers in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with AI tools to move beyond vibe coding into prompt engineering and AI model optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and building capabilities.
• Growing software engineer with opportunities to learn across the codebase and expand technical abilities. Learning new technologies is supported.
