Software Engineer, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

Software full stack developer at Nightwing CODEX directly supporting mission critical needs. We solve complex and critical problems in partnership with mission customers. Develop in an agile environment following the software product lifecycle. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Debug existing software and correct defects.

Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards. Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Write and review software and system documentation. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers;

analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas. Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.

This position is a hybrid position.

All candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have experience with Java, JavaScript, REST services, Spring, Mongo
  
  DB (or other databases), Tomcat, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Git Lab, CI/CD.
• Nice to have:
  React, Material UI, Angular
  
  JS.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders and communicate technical work to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required.

• Salary: $122,000 - $253,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
