Software Developer​/Engineer Security Clearance

Overview

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Software Engineers in a variety of roles to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems assisting in the defense of our nation. We have roles for engineers to work individually or as part of a team.

• Contribute to development and maintenance of software systems across a range of domains.
• Work in a Linux-based development environment using tools like vscode.
• Develop backend and scripting in languages such as C++, Python, and Java.
• Design web-based user interfaces and deliver a positive user experience using JavaScript, Vue.js, and related technologies.
• Build applications in a microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with databases and large datasets using Mongo
  
  DB or SQL.
• Participate in an Agile software development environment using a tracking system (e.g., Jira) to manage work.

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Education:
  
  Positions available at multiple experience levels.
• Entry Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and no or minimal experience.
  
  Note:
  
  four years of relevant experience can qualify at this level even without a degree.
• Basic Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Mid-Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Level – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and 12 years of relevant experience.

Note:

A Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field can substitute for 4 years of experience. Additional years of experience may also substitute for the Bachelor’s requirement in most cases. Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
