Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Playwright, Cucumber, and Cypress
• Being knowledgeable in microservices design and architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, and Agile methodology
• Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing, and end‑to‑end testing
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members and stakeholders

• Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium, Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
• Software:
  Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible
• Other: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 3 years or more of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph within the last 7 years

$168k - $205k (Annually). The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
