Job Description
Glia Cell is seeking a Web Developer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Responsibilities- Code less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
- Support website planning and deployment
- Maintain a functioning user-accessible website
- Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
- Apply concepts, develop, test, maintain and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications
- Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
- Integrate new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization’s website
- Possess an active or rein‑statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Be a U.S. Citizen.
- 8+ years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (or related field), or 24+ years without the degree.
- HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
- Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, or other to create web page elements
