We are searching for an in-house PHP Web Developer. This developer will plan, build and maintain a variety of database driven web applications. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a small team.

• Work with laboratory technicians, scientists, and geneticists to develop technical requirements for new features, workflows and expansions.
• Participate in all phases in the software development life cycle, with an emphasis on development, debugging, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other programming teams to develop APIs and utilize multiple systems to solve workflow complex problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or other field with relevant experience.
• Experience building full stack web applications.
• Proficiency hand coding websites with standards compliant XHTML & CSS.
• Proficiency with PHP.
• Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL and writing complex queries by hand.
• Proficiency with Linux, Shell commands, and basic Sys Admin tasks.
• Proficiency with Git & Version Control.
