Big Data Software Engineer-Principal

Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Big Data Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems. In this role, you will support complex, multifaceted software systems—such as data-intensive analytics platforms, advanced algorithmic solutions, large-scale data processing environments, real-time applications, and business information systems—based on defined and documented requirements.

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and twelve (12) years or relevant experience is required. In lieu of a degree, sixteen (16) years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Experience working within AWS cloud environments, particularly with big data services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience developing front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience developing back-end applications using Python and/or Java.
• Experience developing applications within tiered or distributed architectures.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as Vue.js, Prime Vue, or equivalent technologies (e.g., React or Angular).
• Experience working in Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment.
