Software Engineer; Python​/Django Security Clearance

Position: Software Engineer (Python/Django) with Security Clearance

We're looking for a Software Engineer with 4–6 years of professional experience who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, working collaboratively, and building secure, scalable applications supporting national security missions.

What You'll Do
As a member of an Agile software development team, you will:
Design, develop, test, and maintain secure software applications
Build RESTful APIs and backend services
Develop modern web application features and user interfaces
Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions
Write automated unit and integration tests
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions
Collaborate closely with software engineers, system engineers, testers, and mission stakeholders
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos

Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field

Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
4–6 years of professional software development experience

Experience with one or more modern programming languages such as:

Java Python Java Script /TypeScriptC#
Experience developing REST APIs or microservices
Familiarity with Git and collaborative source control workflows
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
React or another modern JavaScript framework
AWS or Azure cloud services
Docker and Kubernetes
CI/CD tools such as Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Linux development environments
Dev Sec Ops  or secure software development practices
