2HB Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role is full-time and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

The Principal Software Engineer will provide full‑stack Java software development in support of data transformation solutions, engineer end‑to‑end serverless architectures utilizing the AWS ecosystem, contribute to innovative projects, and design, develop, and deploy applications that meet the clients’ evolving needs.

• Java and Java Script
• Python
• Agile software environment
• Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full stack solution
• Experience delivering full stack solutions within AWS cloud, utilizing API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Familiar with designing and implementing caching services for web applications
• Multi‑source Data Integration to fetch and package data from different sources
• CI/CD Orchestration (Jenkins, Git Hub, Code Pipeline)
• Artifact State Management
• Jira and Confluence

Twenty years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
