• Current Poly clearance
• At least 12 years of software engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes
• Back‑end development experience building big‑data applications using Python and/or Java
• Experience with tiered architectural systems emphasizing front‑end development
• Comfortable working in Linux/Ubuntu environments
• Experience in AWS, especially around big‑data architecture
• Front‑end development experience with JavaScript libraries such as Vue.js or Prime Vue (or equivalent)

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithms, large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems, based on documented requirements
• Review and test software components for design adherence and document test results
• Resolve software problem reports
• Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies
• Provide input on system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis from system level to component level
