Annapolis Junction, Maryland – OL Team / Software Developer (Full-Time) – On-site

Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.

This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and appropriate security clearance are required (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph).

• Writing Java Spring Boot based micro‑service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Git Lab and Git Ops
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration:
  Software development is a team‑oriented discipline. Engineers must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

• TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years

• Java, Spring Boot or Python
• JSON Schema
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Git Lab & Git Ops;
  Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible
• Database:

  SQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB – Query and Schema Design
• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation, including Cypress and Cucumber

• Hourly pay range: $83.61 – $113.22 per hour. Compensation varies by contractor rate, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
