Culper Technology is seeking skilled Software Engineers at multiple levels of experience to join our growing team and contribute to the development, maintenance and enhancement of complex and diverse software systems. Ideal candidates should have experience working with cross-functional teams and possess strong communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

• Experience designing, developing, and integratingREST APIsand working with existing tools, services, and application interfaces.
• Knowledge ofmicroservices architecture, software design principles, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with
  
  Java frameworks and technologies, including
  
  Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat, and Mavenfor application development and build automation.
• Familiarity withcloud development and infrastructure management, particularly withinAWS environments and services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software deployment processes.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with databases and data platforms such asMongoDB, Elasticsearch, and SQL-based databases.
• Proficiency with
  
  Git and Git Labfor source control and collaborative software development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while supporting mission-focused software development efforts.

• Must be aU.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an activeTS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, software development, algorithms, data structures, and modern computing concepts.
• Ability to apply technical expertise to support mission‑critical systems and solve complex engineering challenges.

The pay range for this role is:

115, USD per year (Annapolis Junction, MD)
