Job Description
This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat‑bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

- Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
- Load customer orders properly onto the truck.
- Complete appropriate forms.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
- Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair/servicing needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, handle complaints.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Prepare reports and documents related to deliveries.
- Operate equipment and machines such as trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Perform other store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, mixing orders and waiting on customers.
- Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Must have a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) from a DOT‑licensed medical examiner within five business days of a conditional offer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must read and speak English sufficiently for customer interaction and official inquiries.
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a delivery driver.
- At least one (1) year of experience operating material handling equipment.
- Previous experience selling paint and related products.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in more than one language.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
