Responsibilities
- Serve as the Andrews Support Division's and 89th Maintenance Group Commander's focal point for managing and coordinating assigned Boeing and Gulfstream aircraft logistical support programs with headquarters, Air Mobility Command, Air Force Material Command, and OEM contractor offices for aircraft used to transport the Vice President of the United States.
- Act as central liaison between the division and designated Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) organizations on Andrews AFB.
- Coordinate requisition of Government‑furnished items through the appropriate supply system.
- Manage and support applicable Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contracts.
- Synchronize mission requirements with Boeing and Gulfstream program manager long‑term and short‑term maintenance action plans to satisfy contract requirements governed by Executive Airlift Performance Work Statement Yankee White standards (Technical Exhibit
4). - Attend logistics planning meetings to develop strategies for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring an integrated logistics and maintenance plan supports the fleet for specific missions.
- Oversee aircraft configuration and availability according to contractual standards.
- Coordinate workloads and resources with customers and internal sections to meet demand.
- Act as the primary liaison between special mission YW assigned aircraft, production supervisors, assigned workers, and DOM to synchronize aircraft configuration needs and deliverables.
- Nominate program manpower inputs and expenditures to balance financial requirements.
- Ensure aircraft interiors are meticulously cleaned, blemish‑free, sanitized, and fully functional.
- Guarantee the integrity of all YW program data, including maintenance and aircraft status information entered into aircraft forms, Integrated Maintenance Data System, and MOC status tracking.
- Prepare and deliver periodic and ad‑hoc reports on program statuses and provide leadership with research, integration, and responses to official reports and inquiries.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a flight‑line driver’s license.
- Ability to manage and integrate diverse programs under pressure and coordinate complex issues to resolve aircraft maintenance discrepancies in a time‑sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capability to initiate, develop, and maintain logistical support documents.
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate and at least 5 years of experience on the 89th Airlift Wing or similar aircraft.
- Thorough understanding of aircraft requirements, including Analysis and Integration and Integrated Process Team concepts.
- Base salary range: $122,000 to $130,000.
