Procurement and Logistics Specialist

Securityhunter, Inc. is an employee‑owned company based in Baltimore, Maryland that delivers electronic and physical security solutions to federal customers. We are expanding our team to meet the growing demand from our federal clients.

• Enter Purchase Orders into the accounting system (Unanet).
• Track Purchase Orders and manage shared Purchase Order folders.
• Contact vendors to expedite ordering and shipping when needed.
• Work with accounting to resolve any vendor invoice issues.
• Process and scan packing slips from incoming equipment.
• Account for receipt of all line items on individual Purchase Orders as equipment is received.
• Assist the warehouse manager with logistics, material inventory, and counting.
• Communicate with new vendors to create their profiles in the accounting system.
• Inventory and order office, warehouse or cleaning supplies when needed.
• Ensure line items on vendor equipment invoices represent equipment that has been received.
• Assist with warehouse inventories, preparing shipments, warranty tracking, and other ad‑hoc tasks as required.

• Shipping, receiving, logistics, or procurement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a Federal Government background check (criminal and civil).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, and use hands to type or write. Light lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. This position is typically performed in a traditional office environment.

Full‑time; $20 to $23 per hour.
