Personal Assistant

I am a young lady with a mild learning difficulty who lives at home in Galashiels with my family. I’m looking for a friendly personal assistant to take me out on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon to access activities in the local community. Escort me to and from Cornerstones on a Thursday afternoon.

Duties include

• Support to access the local community
• Support to source activities and engage in activities
• Look after my safety and wellbeing when out
• Taking me to and from the day centre

• Driver with business Insurance

Hours of work Flexible

• Monday or Wednesday afternoon, 3 hours/times to be arranged to suit
• Drop me off at my activity group on a Thursday,1pm to 4pm

Terms

• Hourly rate from £12.70
• 40p per mile when out with client
• Expenses paid when out with client
• Annual leave 5.6 weeks pro rata
• PVG/References required
