Program Manager Community Counseling Center

Clinicians (e.g., Licensed, Licensed Eligible, LBA, BCBA)

Provide overall administrative and clinical supervision of assigned Counseling Center and all services offered within.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the services provided by an individual counseling center; assume responsibility for maintaining current services, and develop and expand new programs in order to meet consumer needs.
• Ensure the efficient, effective, and ethical delivery of services to consumers. Support implementation of a quality assurance plan which ensures compliance with all applicable policies/procedures, contracts, agency/program mission, and regulatory standards; ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards; develop and implement long-range planning goals; resolve consumer complaints.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate center employees and interns. Review and update job classification abstracts, as needed. Encourage opportunities for professional development; provide individual staff with ongoing feedback regarding performance.
• Facilitate clinical staffings, business meetings, and supervision; participate in agency committees, as assigned, and center directors meetings. Keep mandatory training up-to-date.
• Provide direct counseling and intake/assessment services to consumers; provide assessment with diagnosis, establish treatment modalities, develop and implement an individual treatment plan and provide current documentation; provide emergency services to local area, as needed.
• Take an active role in coordinating consumer services with other Mount Rogers CSB programs. Provide solutions to address conflicts which impede service delivery.
• Assist in coordination of forensic services for the agency as well as acting as the identified contact person for the state. Attend State and local meetings as identified.
• Assume responsibility for monitoring individual center budgets, and ensure that established reimbursement procedures are followed; monitor the collection of fees and expenditures, and meet reimbursement targets.
• Thorough knowledge of mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Knowledge of case management and prevention theories and methods.
• Thorough knowledge of treatment modalities and application.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Knowledge of the principles of management and skills in clinical supervision.

• Good organization and time management skills.

EXPERIENCE/

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Licensure required.
