Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support reliable, safe operation of our wood products manufacturing equipment. In this role, you'll perform mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance on production machinery, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help reduce downtime in a high-volume mill environment. You'll work closely with operations and engineering teams, applying strong safety practices, contributing to continuous improvement, and supporting Weyerhaeuser's commitment to sustainability, integrity, and community-focused, environmentally responsible manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and mill equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns to minimize unplanned downtime
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks per schedule
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance with minimal disruption
• Document work in the maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Identify and report hazards, contributing to a strong safety culture
