Collections Associate

Overview

To contact commercial credit account customers for payment information on past-due invoices.

• Contact customers by telephone, mail, fax, or email to identify disputes, if any, and arrange payment for overdue invoices.
• Review held credit account orders daily and decision.
• Determine when to place pending orders on hold due to delinquent invoices or other credit reasons.
• Manually enter invoices in customer portals, when required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

• High school diploma and at least one year of previous collection experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others internally and externally.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic personal computer skills including using internet browsers, and experience working with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel software applications.
• Ability to work effectively with team members to accomplish desired goals, especially during peak order times.

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

• Without a related college degree, $17.50 per hour + Incentives
• With a related college degree, $19.00 per hour + Incentives
