OSF Health Care invites a mission‑driven Non Invasive Cardiologist to step into a clinical leadership role that shapes the future of cardiovascular care in the Galesburg region. This position blends direct patient care with meaningful operational and clinical leadership, offering the chance to influence strategy, elevate care delivery, and mentor a high‑performing team of physicians and advanced practice providers.

You will serve as both a practicing cardiologist and the Supervising Clinician for the cardiovascular service line, ensuring alignment with OSF’s strategic objectives while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered noninvasive cardiology care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, evidence‑based treatment.
• Support standardization of clinical workflows and best practices across the service line.

• Lead and mentor physicians and APPs within the assigned clinical environment.
• Communicate and execute operational tactics that support OSF’s strategic goals.
• Champion OSF Leader Competencies and model mission‑driven leadership.
• Drive change initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSF policies, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.
• 4 hours per week of protected administrative time (0.1 FTE).

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
