• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 2:00 PM
  -10:00 PM

• Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Daily Pay Available

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of licensed and unlicensed staff. Care is delivered in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies and procedures, and direction from the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest practicable level of resident care, safety, and quality of life.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans

• Supervise and support LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants on assigned shifts

• Assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation, including assessments and progress notes

• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per facility protocol

• Participate in physician rounds and interdisciplinary care meetings

• Complete incident and accident reports according to policy

• Promote a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff

• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, and proper equipment use

• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois

• Current CPR Certification required

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to make independent nursing decisions when required

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday

• Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the position

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry at least 25 pounds
