Position: Loader/Cart Associate (Full Time)

• Provide quality customer service and help maintain a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with products customers need.
• Be friendly, professional, and engage customers to answer questions.
• Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise; assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
• Load merchandise into customers’ vehicles and replenish shelves for the next customers.
• Follow safety practices, as lifting and moving merchandise is frequent during shifts.

• Hourly Full Time or Part Time: generally 39–40 hours or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability: morning, afternoon, and evening any day of the week.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds (may lift more with/without assistance).
• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  6 months experience using a computer; 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets); ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  6 months retail experience; 6 months as a Loader at a home improvement or hardware retailer; 6 months experience in any department at a Lowe’s store; 6 months experience in retail merchandising and related tasks; 6 months experience in loading/unloading product or material in/out of vehicles.

Pay: $14.00–$14.05 per hour.

Location:

531 West Carl Sandburg Dr, Galesburg, IL 61401. Travel: no regular travel required, occasional travel to meetings or trainings may occur.
