American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of MS experience and recent travel experience within the last year.

• Medical Surgical unit within a community hospital setting
• MS/Tele patient population requiring cardiac monitoring
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Call required with a 1-hour arrival time when called in
• Must be willing to float to all three campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion)
• Epic experience preferred

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous Med/Surg experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Recent travel nursing experience required within the last year
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with rapid response/code team protocols
• Proficient in isolation precautions and PPE use
• Experience with non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and nasal cannula
• IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management skills required
• Experience with portable oxygen tank use

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care including cardiac monitoring and respiratory support
• Respond to rapid response and code team activations as needed
• Facility is a smoke-free campus
• No holiday RTO approved for the week of major holidays
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before being eligible for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
