The Project Scheduler I is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of bid and project schedules assigned to him or her. Keeping both Site Project Management and Corporate Management updated and informed with the project vitality. Able to identify potential delays and impacts proactively. The Project Scheduler is also responsible for ensuring compliance with project specific schedule requirements. Supports all project partners in a-timely completion of project scope.
Open and clear communication is essential.
- Follow both site specific and corporate schedule initiatives
- Create, update and maintain electrical construction schedule
- Qualify GC schedule submissions
- Monitor relationships, constraints and milestones
- Review, create and modify work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Review schedule content, provide comparison schedule reports
- Prepare site and or corporate specific schedule reports
- Support Resource Loading Initiatives

What You Bring To Us- High School Diploma, College Degree is a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Scheduler
- Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Primavera Project Planner (P5 or P6 standards)
- Experience in use of Microsoft Project
- Demonstrate skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
- Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
- Minimum 50% travel to project, out of state
- 2 weeks out of each month onsite for project
- Alternating one week on the project and one week remote
- General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
