Environmental Engineer

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a leading manufacturer in Gallatin, TN to identify and evaluate an Environmental Engineer

About the Role:

This role offers the opportunity to lead critical environmental initiatives, safeguard regulatory adherence, and make a tangible impact on sustainability and safety. You will serve as the key technical expert supporting the facility’s environmental performance while partnering with leadership and external agencies.

• Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and technical support for the Gallatin plant
• Maintain and update all environmental permits, records, metrics, and regulatory reporting
• Manage hazardous waste programs, spill response, disposal coordination, and required training
• Develop and deliver environmental training to ensure ISO 14001 and regulatory compliance
• Serve as primary contact for agencies, consultants, and vendors during inspections and negotiations
• Drive continuous improvement projects related to environmental equipment and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
• 3–5 years of environmental experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and recordkeeping requirements
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related regulations
