IT Technician

The I.T. Technician will support users by diagnosing and resolving issues related to computers, electronic devices, and associated systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations.

• Assist staff with their computer-related issues and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Escalate complex computer or network issues to the appropriate resource or department.
• Work off of a ticketing system to manage and prioritize support requests.
• Create and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) user accounts and groups.
• Install and configure software applications and updates.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems.
• Provide training and guidance for staff on using computer systems and software.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Document and update IT procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or related software.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of network systems and their functionalities.

• At least one year of related training at a vocational school or community college.
• At least three years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support preferred.
• Windows 11 and MacOS experience preferred.
• A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications are highly preferred.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to travel to offsite assignments.
