Conexess Group is aiding a Gallatin based client in their search for a Desktop Support Technician. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

** This is an onsite position in Gallatin, TN*

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily technical Production support to Corporate users.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and enhance PC/Desktop workstations/Laptops, software, and peripherals for corporate users.
  • Maintain Technical Support, answer user calls, track technical issues, and follow up with users for technical solutions.
  • Maintain asset inventory via process and documentation to ensure that all end user assets.
  • Utilize ticketing system to manage and maintain record of all support calls and responses.
  • Determine issue prioritization based on critical needs of corporate users.
  • Demonstrate expertise by providing sound, creative technical approaches and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications, upgrades, patches, and new system technology as utilized in the environment.
  • Assist with the development of user documentation for software developed in-house as well as documentation concerning the application of commercial software to company processes.
  • Administer cloud-based licenses for various tools utilized by end users.
  • Configure and manage building access key cards utilized by employees.
  • Attend Information Systems Staff Meetings.
  • Support and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment at HQ location.
  • Provide other duties and functions as requested by Management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s or above in related field of study preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a technical environment, providing technology support to end-users.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and operating systems with hands-on experience installing, maintaining, enhancing, and upgrading of these applications.
  • Must have knowledge of PC Desktop and LAN environments, phone systems and components.
  • Must possess capability to manage multiple assignments concurrently, high degree of analytical and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and initiative, and teamwork approach.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple users preferred.
  • MacOS troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Jamf experience is a plus
