Sourcing Specialist

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing customer requested parts while continuously improving Innovative Radiology's supplier network, inventory strategy, and purchasing capabilities.
This role is expected to deliver solutions, not simply complete transactions. Every sourcing request should create an opportunity to improve supplier relationships, reduce future sourcing time, increase profitability, and strengthen the company's supply chain.

• Own all sourcing requests assigned through Legendary and Salesforce.
• Source requested parts quickly, accurately, and competitively.
• Negotiate pricing, availability, and purchasing opportunities.
• Complete all sourcing activities and documentation within Legendary and Salesforce.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Identify and qualify new sourcing partners.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and purchasing terms.
• Build and maintain the Innovative Radiology Preferred Supplier Directory stored in the company Shared Drive and accessible to Management and Sales.

• Recommend inventory additions and bulk purchasing opportunities.
• Identify lost sales and sourcing trends.
• Provide recommendations that improve inventory availability and profitability.

• Assist with customer returns and other operational responsibilities as assigned.
• When workload permits, proactively seek additional assignments from your manager.
• Identify opportunities to support the Parts Operations team and improve business processes.

Legendary and Salesforce are Innovative Radiology's official systems of record. All sourcing activity, supplier information, pricing, notes, and status updates must be documented within these systems. Teams, email, and phone calls support the sourcing process but do not replace documentation. If work is not documented in Legendary and Salesforce, it is considered incomplete.

Present sourcing trends, supplier development, inventory recommendations, strategic initiatives, measurable business improvements, and competitive sourcing insights that improve customer service, profitability, and supply chain performance.

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is expected to move beyond transactional sourcing and become a strategic business partner. Success is demonstrated by consistently bringing management ideas, recommendations, supplier relationships, disciplined system usage, and a willingness to proactively support the team whenever additional capacity exists.
