Forklift Operator

Production Operators Needed 1st & 3rd Shift! Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport scrap metal safely and efficiently.
• Utilize a crane for receiving and moving metal materials.
• Identify various types of metal and ensure they are placed into the appropriate furnaces.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Follow job-specific work instructions related to your assignment.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including walking up and down plant stairs multiple times an hour.

• Proficient in operating forklifts and cranes.
• Experience in inventory and material handling.
• Ability to perform machine operations in a heavy, industrial environment.

• Experience in a physically demanding industrial setting is advantageous.

This position involves working in a dynamic, industrial environment where safety is a priority. You will be operating sit-down forklifts and cranes, and the job requires physical stamina for moving around the plant and handling heavy materials. The work schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern, providing flexibility and allowing for planning around work days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, TN.

The pay range for this position is $23.04 – $26.49/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Gallatin,TN.
