Illinois Tool Works - - Responsibilities:
Study specifications to determine materials and machines required to fabricate or repair parts;
Calculate dimensions, plan layout, and determine assembly method and sequence of operations;
Operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to machine parts and verify conformance to specifications;
Smooth surfaces and fit parts into assemblies; connect sensors in dies to ensure quality; verify dimensions and clearances;
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment; perform 5S; cross-train with department colleagues; operate overhead crane
