Robotics Weld Operator

• Operates robotic weld equipment.
• Produces assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures.
• Measures dimensions of work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gages, templates, etc.
• Knowledge regarding physical properties and welding characteristics of metal, effects of heat, welding shrinkage, welding techniques and allowance for thickness.
• Reads prints to determine specifications and accurately complete all required functions.
• Safely completes finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc.

• High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Requires knowledge of physical properties and welding characteristics of metal, effects of heat, welding shrinkage, welding techniques and allowance for thickness.
• Ability to read and understand welding procedures.

Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.

2nd Shift:(4) 10 hour nights 4:40pm - 3:10am Monday thru Thursday WEEKEND Shift:(3) 12 hour days 5:00am till 5:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday 40 hours standard work cycle Overtime is available if/when needed by the company Weekend shift works 36. Paid for 40.
