Responsible for providing educational development of nursing and other clinical staff within Highpoint Health by serving as an educator, facilitator, change agent, coordinator, and leader.

• Participates in the delivery of nursing staff orientation and education activities, including in‑services, mock events, and new product roll‑outs.
• Delivers learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies, as designed by the director and competency manager.
• Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
• Supports the competency manager with competency review and submission.
• Assists with Student Placement program, as assigned, and provides support by proctoring student exams, as needed.
• Supports and coaches employees needing assistance with completion of RQI mannequin check‑off.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing – Required.
• 5 years of clinical experience as an RN, preferably in an acute care setting, including 3 years of training experience.
• BLS & ACLS certification from an approved AHA training center must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor cards preferred.
• Licenses: TN or compact state RN licensure required.
