American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.
Details- Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a Level III Trauma Center hospital
- Serves patients of all ages
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required on an every other/as needed basis
- Call requirements are as needed
- Floating required as needed with possibility of floating to similar med/surg units
- Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
- Utilizes Meditech EHR system
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
- Prior MS/Tele experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in TN
- Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care in a professional environment
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for this travel position
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
