This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (36 guaranteed hours per week) Weekend
Hours:
Every other weekend / as needed
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Combination unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care and support to a diverse patient population, promoting health and wellness in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with IV insertion and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Required
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIH. - Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience preferred.
