American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior MS/Tele experience.
Details- Medical Surgical Combination unit within a Level III Trauma Center
- Serves an all-ages patient population
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 weekly guaranteed hours with every other weekend requirement
- As-needed call requirements
- Possible float to similar med/surg units as needed
- Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (Standard or Compact)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- MS/Tele experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
- Deliver medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients of all ages
- Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
