Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Gallatin, TN | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit serving maternity women and newborns, including postpartum and nursery settings
• Perform fetal monitoring using OB Tracevue for charting strips
• At minimum, circulate for cesarean section procedures performed on-site
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for patients on Pitocin and 1:2 otherwise
• Fulfill call requirements of 2 shifts per 6-week period and rotate weekend hours as needed
• Float to other units as needed and document care using Meditech EHR

• Active RN licensure valid for practice in the state of Tennessee
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to start
• AWHONN certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date; results required before start
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

• PALS certification
• Experience with Centricity and/or Meditech EHR systems
• Couplet care experience
• Positive, cooperative attitude with demonstrated initiative

• Join a fully Joint Commission–accredited facility with Level III Trauma Center status serving the greater Gallatin and Hendersonville communities
• Work in a specialized Labor & Delivery environment with a structured orientation process and a defined, supportive unit profile
