What You’ll Do
  • Own the full installation lifecycle - receiving and delivering equipment; setting, connecting, starting up, and validating proper operation - while following company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Install, configure, and commission commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment across laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit residential properties.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate placement and utility integration.
  • Connect to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems in accordance with local code and manufacturer specifications.
  • Level, secure, and anchor equipment to floors and walls to meet performance and safety standards.
  • Test end-to-end functionality; diagnose and correct issues before customer handoff.
  • Coordinate site logistics with contractors, facility leaders, and utility trades.
  • Provide hands-on training to end users and staff on operation and routine care.
  • Complete checklists, installation records, inspections, and warranty registrations.
  • Care for tools, parts stock, and a company vehicle to keep them job-ready.
  • Escalate critical issues to your Manager and share lessons learned to improve processes and best practices.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years' experience in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.
  • Equivalent blends of education, training, and experience considered.
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC is a plus.
  • Experience using phone/email or ticketing dispatch systems for customer support is preferred.
  • Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability; able to read and apply mechanical/electrical schematics.
  • Organized and detail-driven; can prioritize multiple installs and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Clear, professional communicator - written, verbal, and interpersonal - who maintains a positive, enthusiastic presence.
  • Resilient and adaptable; comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, initiative, and tenacity.
Travel

Primarily within a defined service territory; some overnights required.

Physical & Standard Requirements
  • Regularly involves sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and fine motor tasks.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.; assistive devices provided for heavier items.
  • Frequent talking, hearing, and hand use; periods of computer work requiring close vision and focus adjustment.
  • Valid driver's license required; a company vehicle may be provided.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
