Class A Driver

Job Description

CFC Recycling Inc is opening in Gallatin, TN and seeking an experienced Class A driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting material safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. This position offers a chance to work with a dynamic and professional team while contributing to the success of our company.

• Experience using a roll off, end-dump, low boy or van Trailor to transport material to designated destinations across local and regional routes.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of material to clients and customers.
• Maintain a high level of safety by complying with all state and federal transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours of service, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with dispatchers to receive instructions and report any delays or issues.
  
  Ensure that all recycle material is loaded and unloaded properly as needed, ensuring proper securing of freight.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

• Valid Class A (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Valid Medical Card
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent driving experience as a Class A driver
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely secure loads when needed by straps, chains or tarps
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Member of clearing house for pre employment and driver verification

• Experience with roll off, van, flatbed, and in dump helpful
• Experience with ELD systems, GPS, or other tracking systems
• Class A License with no restrictions
