The Class A Operator is responsible for operating vehicles and equipment requiring a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods or materials. This role involves adhering to safety standards, maintaining vehicle integrity, and supporting operational logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class A vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure safe and timely transport of materials, products, or waste.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and reports as required by law and company policy.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other operators.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism.
  • Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
  • Minimum [X] years of driving experience with Class A vehicles (insert appropriate number).
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to conduct vehicle checks.
