Job Overview
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program, including overseeing company employees and other temporary staff. The individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities- Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
- Train, supervise and instruct employees on tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommending training and discipline as needed
- Prepare written reports such as pass‑downs, weekly or monthly updates
- Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections
- Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
- Track supplies and maintain inventory records
- Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
- Report employee personnel and customer issues to management
- Correct risk behaviors immediately and report to management
- Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
- Maintain records of training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
- Familiar with supervisory responsibilities
- Travel may be required for this position
- Education and/or experience:
Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; high‑school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Certificates, licenses, registrations:
Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification may be required - Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of database, internet, spreadsheet, and word‑processing software
- Good written and verbal communication skills, customer service, training, and time‑management abilities
- Problem‑solving, presentation, and coaching skills
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Effective communication with customers, contractors, or employees
- Use of forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Conduct management activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
- Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Ensure employees receive proper training on tasks and safety requirements
