Job Description
Private practice dental office seeks dental assistant-front desk employee who is X-Ray Certified. The majority of the role (75%) will be front desk duties while the remaining (25%) will be dental assistant duties to include:
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Making and receiving phone calls
- Responding to texts and emails from patients and other medical professionals
- Collecting payments
- Explaining treatment costs and procedures
- Taking radiographs
- Helping with sterilization
Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 7:45-5 and Friday 7:45-4.
Immediate hire is preferred. Candidates must have basic knowledge of dental insurance and be comfortable using a computer. A self-driven person who is organized and enjoys developing and implementing systems is required.
Qualifications- X-Ray Certified
- Basic knowledge of dental insurance
- Comfortable using a computer
- Self-driven, organized, and able to develop and implement systems
