Student Success Advocate

DACC Dona Ana CC is hiring a Student Success Advocate. The role involves providing guidance and support to students and their families on academic, personal, and career matters, connecting them with community and institutional resources, and delivering presentations and outreach. The Advocate also manages food pantry operations and participates in event planning.

• Provide guidance on academic, personal, career, and life planning to students and families.
• Connect students and families to community resources and institutional support services.
• Refer students to counseling and other campus or off-campus services.
• Deliver accurate information on admissions, registration, financial aid, and scholarships via multiple communication channels.
• Create and present outreach presentations on and off campus.
• Participate in event planning, setup, and teardown activities.
• Manage food pantry operations including shopping, stocking, inventory, supervision, and assisting students.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Associate's degree plus 2 years relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree; bilingual preferred.
• Work conditions: office environment with moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Compensation ranges from $43,908.80 to $54,885.74, commensurate with qualifications.
