Instructional Leadership & Pathway Integration
- Collaborate with school administrators and teacher teams to implement and continuously improve pathway-aligned integrated instruction, project-based learning aligned to career pathways and Graduate Profile skills.
- Provide coaching and professional development to "Schools of" teacher teams to support career-themed instruction, project-based learning, and integration of Graduate Profile competencies.
- Coach "Schools Of" teams in embedding the GMCS Graduate Profile skills, career-theme integration, and postsecondary competencies into instruction.
- Support and guide strategic master scheduling, course offerings, and staff trainings with career pathways and program of study.
- Design and deliver training for pathway teachers and core content teachers to promote integration of career themes across disciplines.
- Manage, coordinate, and support work-based learning, student showcase events, and K12 career exploration experiences aligned to district goals.
- Foster an environment where optimal student engagement and growth in readiness skills can occur.
- Support principals in strategic planning for pathway implementation and improvement.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, employers, tribal partners, post-secondary institutions, and community organizations.
- Represent the district in regional or statewide college and career readiness initiatives.
- Serve as liaison for the district with regional and state-level career readiness networks and grant initiatives.
- Track and document pathway implementation, student engagement, and site-based support.
- Collect and analyze participation and outcome data to inform continuous improvement.
- Create regular reports and presentations for district leadership, school boards, and community partners.
- Use data to drive instructional decisions and improve program outcomes.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively through reports, presentations, and digital media
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
- Collaborate effectively with district leadership, school staff, and external partners.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in education, workforce development, and postsecondary readiness.
- Supervise, direct, and coordinate the work of lower-level staff.
- Other tasks as may be deemed appropriate and necessary by the Director of CCCR.
- Equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, educational leadership, public administration, or a related field.
- A valid New Mexico Administrative License or in the process of obtaining one.
- Prior experience in college and career readiness programming, educational leadership, or public engagement preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct, and coordinate teams or lower-level staff.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across various stakeholders.
- Understanding of public relations and media, including social media and community outreach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel frequently across the district and on short notice.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
