Santa Fe Recovery Center is looking for a Clinical Therapist who has a passion for helping others while working in a supportive environment. - Conduct assessments on clients utilizing SFRC’s biopsychosocial assessment (BPS) risk assessment and other evaluation tools to determine the ASAM criteria.
- Provide individual and group therapy utilizing evidence‑based and best practices in SUD treatment, psycho‑education, cognitive/behavioral methods, motivational interviewing, and holistic therapeutic modalities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Case Manager to provide referral services at other agencies for services not provided by SFRC.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training on EBPs utilized for client service delivery. Maintain fidelity to the EBPs being utilized.
- Work with families to provide therapy and support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Strong foundation in Social Work, Psychology, and Mental Health
- Experience in Case Management, Family Therapy, and/or other relevant fields
- Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic modalities for substance use and mental health disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico as a clinical therapist
- Experience with co‑occurring disorders is a plus
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Also accepting LSAA and LADAC licenses
- Current New Mexico License as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist (Independent License Preferred) – LSAA, LADAC, LMCH, LMSW, LPCC, LCSW
- Prefer at least two years of experience working with clients with co‑occurring mental health/substance abuse diagnoses, providing individual and group psychotherapy.
- Must be computer literate to effectively maintain compliance with BHSD Standards and requirements for the use of computerized client assessments, data systems, etc.
- Maintain a current, valid NM Driver’s License. Must also have and maintain a clean driving record and auto insurance.
