Ultrasound Technologist providing imaging services in obstetrics, general, vascular, and breast modalities for a 13-week contract in Gallup, New Mexico. The role supports accurate diagnosis and patient safety while working with a dedicated team. You will collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to interpret findings and contribute to patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services for OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and patient safety.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, including GE Logiq E units and Trophon systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Document imaging procedures and patient information within Cerner Community Works EMR system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures during all imaging procedures and patient interactions.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technologist program.
- ARDMS certification in OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast imaging.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast imaging.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
